November 2018 – Coming next: Chile, Peru and France

Dear all,

I hope you are all well! I’ve been kind of quiet recently because I was preparing nice things! On October 25th, I did my first real (and free!) show in Xi’an, China, for more than 3100 students from local universities and programmers from all around the world, as the closing event of the Global Programmers Festival. To make that show, I worked with the best producers on Earth: Done & Dusted, from England, and fabulous animation artists Artists In Motion, from Australia. It looked a bit like this:

Then on November 3rd, I gave a talk, a tribute to my former professor, Stephen Hawking, in Paris, France, to explain his groundbreaking work to as large an audience as possible. It was very emotional to see how many people were moved by Stephen’s extraordinary achievements.

Now, coming next: if you happen to be in Santiago (Chile) or in Arequipa (Peru) this week, I’m giving three general public lectures:

WEDNESDAY 7 NOVEMBER: HAY FESTIVAL FORUM, SANTIAGO DE CHILE

I will talk about the Universe and show nice pictures and films of outer space 🙂

The whole program and info can be found here.

FRIDAY 9 NOVEMBER: HAY FESTIVAL, AREQUIPA, PERU

Centro Cultural Peruano Norteamericano (teatro), 20h.

Conversation about E=mc2  with Andrés Gomberoff.

SATURDAY 10 NOVEMBER: HAY FESTIVAL, AREQUIPA, PERU

Centro Cultural Peruano Norteamericano (teatro), 18h.

This one is a bit like a show 🙂 Hope you’ll enjoy!

The whole program and info can be found here, and the festival website is here, while tickets can be purchased here.

SATURDAY 17 NOVEMBER: PARIS, FRANCE

And last but not least, if you are in Paris (and if you speak French), I’ll give a public lecture on Black Holes on Saturday 17 November, at 11am, in the MK2 Quai de Loire movie Theater. Info and reservations (still in French) are here

HOPE TO SEE MANY OF YOU AROUND!!
